PERSONAL PROPERTY CARE IN SOUTHWEST FRANCE
About Us
Personal, trusted care for your French property
Mike & Carmel
We’re Carmel and Mike, a husband-and-wife team who have called France home for over 10 years. We’ve built our life here, renovated property, and raised our family in the Dordogne. We understand the joys of owning a home in France — and the challenges that can come with looking after it when you live elsewhere.
We created Your French Property Companion to offer something personal and practical: a reliable local point of contact for English-speaking owners who want their French property cared for while they’re away.
From regular property visits and detailed photo reports to key holding, maintenance coordination and practical help when needed, we provide tailored support to suit your home and your circumstances.
With Mike’s experience as a registered builder, we also bring valuable hands-on knowledge of French properties, helping owners understand maintenance needs and coordinate agreed works with confidence.
Whether you own a holiday home, a countryside retreat or a cherished second residence, our aim is simple: to give you greater peace of mind, knowing there’s someone local you can turn to.
